The Model 900 Railway Butt-Seamer is used for sewing a variety of light to medium weight, uncoated textile products. The model 900 butt-seamer was originally developed for sewing unbacked or soft carpet.

The model 900 produces a seam which measures over 1-1/2″ wide when pulled flat. This unit is often used for butt-seaming before finishing ranges and Kusters. The model 900 butt-seamer is also often used for sewing fabric an felt products.
