The Model 48500 Butt-Seamer is our widest overedge machine. The width of the seam sewn is almost 2-1/2″ when pulled flat. It is used for sewing heavy weight carpets that will be under high tension. The 48500 butt-seam will provide enough seam strength for butt-seaming at most processes of carpet manufacturing.
